Bridal Makeup Tips for Fair Skin

Bridal makeup for fair skin can be tricky especially if your not wanting to look too pasty on your wedding day. Here are a few bridal makeup tips that will keep you from not looking pasty, and makeup recommendations match that porcelain skin allowing you to embrace your fair beauty.

Scuplting Powders

For those who don’t know what sculpting powder is, it is a powder that allows you to contour and shade your face. It is different from a bronzer in the sense that sculpting powders have a grey undertone. The grey undertone helps you to be able to shade the face in a subtle way without looking discolored. I prefer the MAC sculpting powders available online only or in the pro-store in Sculpt or Bone Beige. Just make sure you have the compact or insert, as they come in pan size only.

Eyeshadows

Especially with bridal makeup, the more fair the better when choosing eyeshadow colors for your wedding day. When choosing colors for more fair skin, the lighter the better. Think light, matte, soft, and airy. I like to go with matte latte shades, soft pinks and light pale peaches, with a light champagne shimmer.

Lip Shades

Opt for nudes or pale pinky nudes. It will look pretty nude in the tube, but remember this has to blend in with your lips natural lip color, so if your lips naturally have a lot of color to them already, remember for bridal makeup, stick with the lightest hue. Lipsense shade, Praline Rose, is a perfect bridal makeup lip color that looks great on fair skin. Lipsense is a 16 hour weear kiss proof color that does not dry out the lips.

Foundations

Here is my biggest question in regards to bridal makeup! Whats the best foundations for fair, pale skin. There are several brands that offer a larger range of hues. I prefer Make Up For Ever HD liquid foundation, Dior Forever foundation in 10, or Temptu #1 shade is great for airbrushing options. It won’t damage your skin and you can find great ingredients to improve with the best upcycled skincare routine.

At the end of the day, its always best to leave your bridal makeup to a professional and allow them to find your perfect color match. However, hopefully these few bridal makeup tips will help you in choosing some shades on your own for everyday wear.

Best Makeup Tips For A Natural Look

Thanks for reading! Here are my best makeup tips for a natural look. If your wanting to wear a natural makeup look, but never get it to look quite as polished as you wanted it to, keep reading.

Lets face it, most everyone wants to look au natural and that they’re not wearing much makeup, but the key to this is to NOT, not wear makeup!!!! Don’t skimp on the foundation, or the brows. The trick is good product, application and a little bit of technique. Products like True Pheromones can also make you more sexually attractive.

Foundation

The key is to have one- and a really good one! You might even need one for Winter and one for Summer for when you have a bit more color on your skin. While good product is key, the best makeup tips are in the brush and application. Apply with kabouki brush, in a “stenciling” motion, so you get good medium to full coverage for your complexion.

Bronzer or Sculpting Powder

I like to use bronzer to dust on my cheeks and use the same color in my crease on my eyelids just to give a bit of color, so I dont look too washed out. Bronzer will look more of a glow. If you wish to shape your face a bit more and like a little more contouring, opt to use a sculpting powder instead, as sculpting powder tones are a little less orange and more of a grey undertone to shade the face. You NEVER want to accurately contour with bronzer.

Brow Powder

While there are so many brow products out there, like brow henna, opting for a brow powder will give your browns a more natural look, all while still looking polished and shaped. Splurge on a great, and I mean great eyebrow brush, as these are made very thin. This allows you to get exact precision, so that your brow strokes look as close to your brow hair as possible. For more defined hairs, spray your brush with a bit of setting spray and then dip in the powder for more hair definition. You may also try eyebrow microblading, which creates the illusion of fuller eyebrows.

Eyeliner

I know, some of you don’t wear much eyeliner when it comes to sporting a natural look, but here is why I like it. One, it makes my lashes look more full, and two, adding a bit just on the top lid only, gives my face and eyes an instant lift- great for more ladies who are concerned with aging. Gel or cream eyeliner applied with a thin brush is best for a more precise look and long lasting wear.

Mascara

When it comes to best makeup tips, for a natural look, I get asked all the time, what my go to mascara is. Well, here it is ladies and gentleman…..If I am wearing just mascara and no falsies on my eyes, its Chanel Inimitable every time. I NEVER leave my house without mascara. I love this product because it gives me length, fullness, thickness, and is super buildible. I will also use it with the white nourishing primer as a base which gives even more lash. For application technique. Wiggle at the roots and then pull up on the wand. It never disappoints.
